Spamming with porn links: Comments

My site is being spammed by an idiot posting porn links.

I've tried to block him based on IP address.

He seems to be doing it in the comments section - is it possible to moderate comments? The comments system module section suggests you can show active/hidden/pending comments which suggests you can but i can't find where to switch it on.

thanks

Andrew

usually in each module preferences section there is a comment rules option where you can set these kind of things.

Since you don't specify which module with which this is happening, I will use the news module as an example.

Under the news module preferences you should have this:

Quote:
Comment Rules

Select from the dropdown menu which preference you would like to use.

Yes, your site has anonymous posting enabled... disable this and your spammer will have to register.

If he still persists, then set the posts to be moderated.
