HUGE Problem: After copying files I get a blank screen

Hi Every

I recently tried to install:

https://xoops.org/modules/repository/singlefile.php?cid=20&lid=1523

which resulted in a blank page so I copied back the default files in my version of XOOPS and I still receive a blank page and can't access anything within Xoops.

Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

Have just down that and it found too errors which I simply replaced the default file which fixed the problems but it then simply came up with a blank page again.

Any other ideas?

I get the following errors after accessing the recovery area:

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: xoopsblock in /home/sacotech/public_html/Extranet/header.php on line 90
Notice [PHP]: Only variables should be assigned by reference in file kernel/profile.php line 94
Notice [PHP]: Only variables should be assigned by reference in file include/common.php line 215
Notice [PHP]: Only variables should be assigned by reference in file kernel/config.php line 239
Notice [PHP]: Only variables should be assigned by reference in file kernel/config.php line 239
Notice [PHP]: Only variables should be assigned by reference in file header.php line 75

Any ideas on what might be the problem?

does it fix or does a different error appear if you reupload file header.php into your root folder ?

Note: get header.php from an unhacked, original XOOPS package

I have tired replacing the files which you suggested but I now get this error:

http://sacotech.com.au/Extranet/modules/news/

Any more ideas?

it's unclear for me. What is this error exactly? Is it a warning, a fatal error, does it include an error code line?

I just checked the following URL of your site: http://sacotech.com.au/Extranet/modules/news/

and I get this error

...apparently the XOOPS core files did not upload correctly, reupload all the core files except mainfile.php

If header.php was not fully uploaded, most of the other files will probably be the same. You have to make sure all files upload 100% and keep an eye on the FTP log.
