So, here's the circumstances:

Visitor logs in from, say the login block on the left hand side of the page while they are looking at a page on the download module. After they log in they are automatically redirected, but they are redirected to a page on the weblinks module. This has been the case since I downgraded from 2.2.4 to 2.0.13.2.

I have searched in the forums back to sept 2005 under "redirect", "referer", but nothing that seemd to get at this problem particularly.

Any ideas about what I might look at to resolve the problem?

Thanks in advance...

The solution would be upgrading to 2.014 :)

(Hands type feverishly on keyboard as Chappy thinks that there might be a new upgrade for xoops)

Thanks for your post phppp. You're a gift to the community!

I was not aware that there was a new XOOPS version with that version number (I am quite intentional in trying to stay up to date on that kind of thing). A couple of minutes ago I checked the downloads here at XOOPS and saw that 2.0.13.2 was the latest patch listed. When I didn't see 2.0.14 I did a search and saw that it is at XOOPS Cube. Now, I hesitate to ask any question or say any thing that will cause any kind of unsupportive conversation in the forums. But, I am intrigued. Will the XOOPS Cube version (2.0.14) conflict with the next release from XOOPS in any way? Will upgrading lead me into a path that will prevent following the current XOOPS upgrade path? Or, are the two paths basically the same at the moment? I do want to upgrade if the upgrade path will be safe...

Again, I'm a peace-loving kinda' guy so I don't want to raise any hackles here.

Thanks again phppp!

I did not speak out the 2.014 explicitly as "Xoops 2.014 from The XOOPS Project" for I don't think it necessary.
If it was refered to some other 2.014, I would speak it where it belongs to :)

The XOOPS 2.014 RC1 is ready on sourceforge svn and will be published in a couple of hours, actually Skalpa has sent a not email to Xoops-Announcement Mail List So that local supporters can prepare for it.

Thanks, that helps!

And, as you know, you're right. I was just trying to make sure I understood.

Hey thanks PHPPP!

Anywhere we can get a peak at the changes from 2.013.2 and or its new features?

Thanks again for the heads-up!

The news release will be out in under 24hrs... otherwise, simply visit the XOOPS SVN on SourceForge.

I upgraded to 2.0.14. The redirect is still not taking visitors back to the page they were on when they logged in. It redirects to random (but existent) pages on my site. Any other ideas?

Thanks!

Thanks, Stelian, for replying.

It was a good response. It did not work, though. Mine had the Quote:
<{$xoops_module_header}>
included in the theme and has since I found the theme. I have had other themes, though, that did need it. If you have any other ideas, I appreciate any of them.

Thanks, Stelian!
