I just dwnl a new templated set ( coral_reef )but as a NewBie I do not know how to install it. Can some one please help me with this. :( manny thnx.

I do not have the experiance to do it my self.

it is very helpful and the images will help too.

As for being a newbie - booknark the above site then go on to the find help docs here link below - these links to docs will answer most of your questions about using your xoops.

Oke its a Theme not an template but still my Q is not answer. So I dwnl XOOPS and also the theme. I like to know what the nex stap is. I,m not vermilior whit XOOPS and do not know how this works so if some one can help me I will be thnx full.

Do I have to place this file's on my server.?
Do I need to install the sql file in my database?

HELP HELP HELP!!!!!

Oke i,m lucky because I just install XOOPS on my server. Now I need to install a Theme and and try to do so but......:( dos'nt work. What is the trick and wich file's do I need to remove are replaced to get a good theme installed. Oke help with this and please do not send me to a document but just share your idea's :)

I managed to dwnl a good looking theme and now I need a file thats call

Must be a tar.gz/.tar file with a valid XOOPS template set structure

But the themes that I have bin dwnled dos not have this file??????????

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHH going creacy here!!!

What sould I do. AGAIN HELP HELP HELP!!!!

Thanx for the tutorial it whas helpfull to untherstand themes.

Sorry Vincent but few of us if any have time to explain the same steps over and over to new users. This is why we have FAQ and documents - so you can empower yourself and learn as you go. This is why we send you to FAQ's and documents...because we don't have the time to give you step by steps over and over. I am sorry if it doesn't suit you but thats they way it is.

Once again i recomend you check the help docs thread - find help docs here in my sig below. There are links to graphical tutorials there as well as documents. The tutorials are excellent and quick and easy ways to learn because they show you what to do step by step with images. especially helpful if English is not your first language.

Our Xoops.org is very much like a tool box and you need to learn to use the tools.
