Getting hit by ddos

I have been using XOOPS for 2 years.my site got hit by ddos recenlty. i upgraded my site to the latest version and tried to block the ips of attackers in my .htaccess file. still no remedy.

any one out here to help please

Install 'Protector' by GIJOE and tunr on the protection for DDos (it's on by default I but you can configure further if you wish) and all your troubles will fade away! Get it from here.

contact your host. their firewall should be able to block ddos attacks, if it isn't they should be looking into it.

if it's your own dedicated server, then i should enquire about firewalls for it.
