Section tabs across top of main screen

I'm still on the search for some final extra functionality before I can commit to using XOOPS.

Is there a module for adding tabs or the usual links line at the top of the main page?

Re: Section tabs across top of main screen

Yes - if you search for MultiMenu - this will give you a lot of flexibility for this...

Alternatively you can hard-code the links, but Multimenu will give you a lot of control (the latest version also allows drop-down menus)

Re: Section tabs across top of main screen

Unfortunately not.

Multimenu is (imso) the most popular menu module and will allow you to place a single line in the theme.html file. (otherwise you can't get it up tippy-top as it will show in the center blocks section) I found it a bit counter intuative to use though.

If you are just looking to put some tabs up top (and don't need submenu's etc.) I would just hardcode it into the theme.html page of the theme.

Doah, David was a bit quicker than me ...

Re: Section tabs across top of main screen

Im having the same problem, I hardcoded my theme_usernav file because my client wants tabs (Im new to xoops)in his XOOPS site.

Im modifying the theme, php content,js, css, and navigation for dropdowns and everything works fine, the only problem is that the :active state turns on a bit, but as soon as the module or link loads, the active state is gone and I can't figure out why.

Is it at all possible to have the :active links stay active in xoops?

the related topics I saw were written a little bit in chinesse from my newbie poin of view;
any help greatly apreciated.

Re: Section tabs across top of main screen

You want some menu like this : polfran.pl
this turns on and stay active soon as the module or link loads ?

Re: Section tabs across top of main screen

Nope, the active state doesn't change there;
