Hi,

Oracle have now free (like free beer )database - Oracle XE.
It is possible to use it with XOOPS? Any plans or dreams???

I think it will be good start to expand supported databases...

XOOPS4 (and perhaps XOOPS 2.6) will support PDO, PHP 5.1 native database abstraction drivers, which includes Oracle Call Interface. So, yes, there are plans to use all databases supported by PDO (eventually).
