Anyone suggest a good CHEAP company with good access view control panels and ftp...

Basically my renewal is coming up with www.uk2.net and personally they are awful!!

I currently have 1000mb Disk Space and a unlimited bandwith... alot I know but anyone know of somewhere that is a very good company to deal with?

I'm also with Surpass. 5GB storage, unlimited everything, yadayada for roughly 50 bucks a year. Sweet deal.

If you go with these guys, get the OC5 or OC10 package. Best bang for your buck hands down.

ICHI_UK - i've been with 3DPixelnet for a good while now - and host a fair few XOOPS sites with them Definately one i'd recommend

They're are THE biggest and best provider in the world.

They have packages ranging from $2.99/mo with 5GB space and 250GB transfer, up to the package I have for $19.99/mo that has 30GB of space and 1.5TB of transfer.

I've used Surpass, and many other of the hosting providers you'll see listed here. None could compare, dollar for dollar, with the reliability, speed, space, transfer, and features ofhttp://1and1.com/

Oh, and domain names are only $5.99/year with 1&1

I agree, they seem to give a very good service and co.uk addresses are very cheep!

Hi,

I looked at 1and1.com and sounded really good except one thing. It offers only 100MG of My SQL space.
I am very new to xoops. Is 100MG of My SQL space enough for 50 users who may post avg. 10 threads per week?
I am sure it depends on how we configure xoops, but I just wanted to get some idea on how quickly XOOPS database increase its size. If 100MG is too small for what I am trying to do, then is there any other great host like 1and1?

Any info would be greatly appriciated!
