regads,

It depends on what you want to do.

If you want to have the files copied to your server, use "browse files from my computer."

If you want to have the link point to a mp3 on another internet server, use "external link" and put the internet address of the file there.

NOTE: Some people have experienced ocassional problems uploading files using this module. If this happens, the best thing to do is

1. upload the file to your server.

2. Create a listing in debaser and use "external link" to show the file's internet address on your server.

Re: debaser in action

I installed this module a few days ago, and it uploads small files fine, but what they don't tell you about is that your web host has a file called "php.ini" that only he has access to and in that file he sets the maximum file upload permissions to his server. So basically you probably won't be able to upload files over 3 MB if you are being hosted by someone. If you run your own server (dreaming again), you can just edit the settings in your PHP's "php.ini" file, and everything would work fine.

Coders have figured out a few ways to step around this, but I have not been able to get any of them to work so far as my knowledge of PHP is next to none. To learn more, do a forum search on my thread titled "Debaser Questions"

cheers
