I'm working on a portofolio site to display my work and resume. Trying to get a good ol' joby job.

I think I've got the layout for the site finished (still working on the content though), and I wanted to see if anyone had any feedback or suggestions before I move on.

A couple notes to help in your evaluation:
* The lack of graphics is intentional. I want it to be fast.. REAL FAST.
* Primary focus has been given to standards compliance.
* I'm aiming for modern and reasonably technical, but clean, easy on the eyes, and easy to navigate as well.
* Printer friendliness is also high on the priority list (view print preview on any page)
* This site is not a XOOPS site, but a XOOPS-compliant version of the design is in the works. (Got bigger fish to fry right now )

I appreciate any feedback I can get. This will be the site where I point perspective employers and clients, so I want to make sure I'll be putting my best foot forward.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for taking a look!

That's a pretty good assessment of what I was feeling too, but I cannot put my finger on it either.

I'm certainly open to suggestions if anyone has any.

Best Regards,

James

James,

Rather than grey have you thought about going with a more vibriant autum tones (Reds, oranges, yellows, and even a hint of greens)? Greys tend to pull mood down. I think since you are selling yourself you should set a mode with more vibrant tempo with colors. I like the layout. Just my 2cents.

My wife said something very similar to that. It's a good point. I'll have to experiment with the colors some.

Thanks for the feedback!

She mentioned the colors.
