WF-Downloads category problem

When I add new file to the database and choose its category, it doesn't show up in selected category.

When I look with phpmyadmin it shows that file's category is set to 0, so it doesn't show up on any category (first category is 1)

So bascially i need to change that category number every time someone adds new file.

This problem can be solved easily by commenting a line:

Go to submit.php in the module and edit a line between 360-370 :

the line is:
$sform->addElement(new XoopsFormHidden('cid', 'pid'));

comment this line, the problem will be solved.
Just give me a feedback, it's working with my XOOPS 2.2 FR

Jeeep, you are genius.

While developers didn't provide any working solution to fix this problem, your tip really worked. You saved a lot of time for me.

Thank you!

Just to clarify, if WF-downloads does not work properly with XOOPS 2.2.x, that does not necessarily mean that it is a problem with XOOPS. The people who develop modules are not always the same people as those who develop XOOPS.

The official support site for WF-Projects ishttp://www.wf-projects.com/. If you have any further problems with their modules and you cannot find an answer here, you may want to post your request on their site.

Best Regards,

James

JMorris,

I know it's not a problem with XOOPS, it's a problem with module. The first thing I did - posted question in WF forums. There were more people with same problem, but we didn't get any answer from developers
