I've installed fiappleblue as a theme on my site (www.derehamchamber.com) and I've changed the text across the top (Dereham & District Chamber of Trade & Commerce), but if I change it again it stays on the previous text.

Even removing the theme doesn't work and I had to uninstall XOOPS to get it change.

My question is this :

Is the text stored somewhere else in XOOPS and how can I change it again without uninstalling?

I've cleaned the browser cache, shutdown/restarted etc, but that doesn't work either.

Thanks.

I am sort of a newbie BUT ... have you made sure the

Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?

option is set to YES in the Admin/System/Preferences/General Settings area?

At least, thats the first thing that I would check.

I find this happens to me when I edit the html,
It some times updates when you go to prefrences and update it, it changes as a lot of the site gets cached
CSS changes straight away
Is there a better way to do update when you edit the theme?

Personally, I leave the "templates" setting set at Yes ... and every module to "No Cache" until I am absolutely positive I will be making no more changes.

I know its against the advice of some experienced Xoopsters ... but it sure makes making changes a whole lot easier when I don't have to keep going back and turning this thing on and off or resetting a bunch of something else.

same problem here, i can not change a theme, and language properbly. There are a few post about this subject, so it has to be something with xoops.

Can someone fix it?
