Wordbook - problems with categories

I've installed wordbook for a personal project but items entered always take the first category, not the one they were input under.

I've emailed the author, but no reply. I've seen plenty of questions about this, but no answer.

Anyone got any suggestions?

On bylaugh.org I simply renamed the weblog-tb.php file to something random and blocked the IP range - it stops all trackbacks and shows a 404 error.

Lot's of 403's until he tries another IP and then lots of 404's.

Thanks. It still needs some work on the aesthetics, but it's a work in progress.

Xoops is just so easy to work with.

Including part of a module in a HTML page

I have xdirectory installed on one site and on another site is a 'portal' - a single html page with the category headings leading to the main site.

How can I include the xdirectory headings in this other page and have it update when new categories are added?

Bearing in mind I am a newbie to php/sql

I have installed loads of modules and the menu order looks wrong. Can I reset it to display alpahbetically or do I have to edit a file - if so, which file?

Problem with new theme not updating

I've installed fiappleblue as a theme on my site (http://www.derehamchamber.com) and I've changed the text across the top (Dereham & District Chamber of Trade & Commerce), but if I change it again it stays on the previous text.

Even removing the theme doesn't work and I had to uninstall XOOPS to get it change.

My question is this :

Is the text stored somewhere else in XOOPS and how can I change it again without uninstalling?

I've cleaned the browser cache, shutdown/restarted etc, but that doesn't work either.
