How can I make a cron jobb in xoopsCare that run backpack
backups?

If it is much to explain or write, please guide me to a link where I can learn.

Ps even if it just one line and you show it to me, you are are also welcome to link to a guide where I can learn these kind of stuff. :)

Hi I am new to edit the themes, can anyone help me in how I would do to edit the default theme to look like this.

Tthere are three gif images, with exampels how I would like the site to look.

Would you say that it is easy to do so I can do it by myself, or is it best to pay someone to do it?

thank you for your quick answer Bender. Just a few more questions.

1. What shall I change in the mainfile.php? And what shall I write when making the changes?

2. Is that the onley thing I need to change, there is nothing else I need to edit?

ps: I will keep that in mind in the future.

HI!

I am going to switch my primary domain at my webhost, however, they have this warning before you do it.

"WARNING: If you have us change your domain name all of your add-on domains will no longer work. You will need to delete them and remake them yourself after we do this."

I have a XOOPS site on one of my subdomains that I still whant to be a subdomain, but to a different primary domain. I have talked to hostgator and they say that the info will remain on the server, but I will need to edit the scripts to get it to work. I do not get any info on whant to edit, and they suggested that I should ask here.
can someone please help me in what I should be expecting to edit, what to write, etc... I have spent alot of time with that XOOPS site and would rather not do a reinstallation.

Host: hostgator, shared server.
xoops: 2.0.14

Hold the mouse over "view mode" and you will see the links that you can click on. on my site the links is shown all the time. I want it to be like it is in this forum.

hi!

The links in the main options menue are shown all the time in the newbb. This happen with the theme I whant to use, I have also notice this happens in some other themes. However in some themes, like XOOPS default the menue wont show untill you click on it, like in this forum. What shall I edidt to make this happen in the othher themes?

oops! i should have read Lance answer more carefully. "switch vertical" in block options, that did the trick, thank you very much Lance for the quick answer.

It did not work to update, anyone else?
The menue option is just a normal one that shows the link in plain text. I have used this before on another site, and it has worked fine. I had XOOPS 2.013.2 on that one.
Is there a way to get a debug message? it mus be a error message since it is not working.

Please help.

multimenue refuse to show any links, just the blocks, what is wrong?

The permission is right, the installation went right.
The links is copyed from browsing xoops.

xoops 2.0.14
multimenue 1.8 or 1.81, the latest anyway.

I have no error messages!

Please help
