Hi guys..
I have a client with an 11,000 member/user website that is wanting me to re-build their site on our server using xoops.

The exsisting website is constructed using .asp using, .mdb and so I converted data base database to MySQL with no probs, but the converted database still has obviously all the wrong/different table entries that do not match the normal XOOPS ones...

My question: ( Which is a very long shot I know
and yes, I am a bit lost for ideas...
but....
Is their any way to bring in an alien .mdb data base after converting it to MySQL and then convert it, and its contents to suit XOOPS ?

OR ... am I just stuck with manually re-setting up the members / users on the new XOOPS site that I build.

thanks for your time

Hi,

I have made a script for import users in XOOPS from a flat file .

If you send par email (christian at frxoops dot org) the mdb file with some records, i can realize a other migration script.

The problem can be with the password, in XOOPS the password is crypted in md5.

Best regards
