i've setup a fresh XOOPS site (using 2.0.11)

as the only changed file that affects the 2010 multisite is header.php i ran a merge on it.

however the site functions ok, but when i try to install the site module i get this error:

Installing Site Administration

Unable to install site. Error(s):

Back to Module Administration page

phpdebug shows nothing.

in fact no modules will install.

when i tried to install members module i get:

Unable to install Members. Error(s):
-

Installing Members

- Could not insert Members to database.

again no phpdebug errors.

database user account has full priviliges.

---------------------
could it be i missed something in header.php?

MySQL debug errors?

hmmm strange, that's why there's no debug errors..

can't change any options in preferences..

when i went to change to MySQL debug, the option was off. so i changed to MySQL and hit submit, it said database updated successfully, but nothing was changed.. can't change anything in fact.. not even enabling blocks.

Try manually going through the database

ok

changed to phpdebug by using phpmyadmin..

only a notice of undefined constant.. so that's not the cause..

then change to MySQL debug using phpmyadmin again..

and get this:

SELECT * FROM giyg697A_sites
Error number: 1146
Error message: Table 'wwcncom_wwcncom.giyg697A_sites' doesn't exist

strange cos it won't let me install the site module to be able to create that table.. that's appears on all admin pages..

when trying to install site module i get the following:

CREATE TABLE giyg697A_sites ( `site_id` int(12) unsigned NOT NULL auto_increment, `site_name` varchar(255) NOT NULL default '', `theme_path` varchar(255) default NULL, `templates_path` varchar(255) NOT NULL default '', `upload_path` varchar(255) default NULL, `cache_path` varchar(255) NOT NULL default '', `site_url` varchar(255) NOT NULL default '', `pattern` text NOT NULL default '', `db_prefix` varchar(50) NOT NULL default '', `shared_tables` text, PRIMARY KEY (`site_id`) ) TYPE=MyISAM

Error number: 0
Error message: Database update not allowed during processing of a GET request

well getting somewhere now.. but dunno what's causing that, as i say it was a fresh install..

Software firewall blocking HTTP Referer?

hey smd :)

are you using it with 2.0.10 or 2.0.11?

i have to ask because i'm trying to use it with 2.0.11 as i can't see the changes in 2.0.11 affecting the hack in that respect.. (only header.php is different)

haven't tried it with a 2.0.10 install, so was just wondering.

firstly, i tried with 2.0.11... can't install the site module. then, i tried with 2.0.10... same error occurs... can't install the site module also... so, in this case i tried both version 2.0.10 and 2.0.11
