A xoops site in a site

Can I have two XOOPS sites running along side each other but both running of the same MySQL DB's.

I want to put a link to this other site, lets call it a recruitment site that works in the same way as my execiting site, all the same stuff, but inks to the same database.

Can this be done? if so how is it done?
