Does anyone know what would prevent the Login Menu from being presented in certain themes?

not sure what you mean by login menu?

do you mean the block or when a theme has a login section built into the header?

not all themes have them..

if it's a block then that's all controlled by groups permission and block permissions and positions..

have you turned php debug on in admin preferences general settings and looked for any errors?

Thanks for getting back to me.

Sorry, should have been a heck of a lot more precise.

Actually, it isn't the log-in menu itself. People can log in using the Log-in block, which should disappear once you've logged in.

What I meant to ask is: Does anyone know what would prevent the User Menu from appearing on certain themes once a user is logged in? It's set to be visible to Registered Users and Webmasters in the Admin area.

I'm having this same issue right now...i did a chmod 777 of all the files in the system/templates directory and viewed the file in *edit template* and then updated system module....and it seems to be okay right now although the css isnt the same anymore....*sigh*
