I just installed XOOPS and tried to edit the site's content, but there are no options available under the Administration menu. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: No Admin Menu

Have you installed any modules yet?

If so see this Faq Page.

Hummm... Are you talking about the menu line "Administration menu"? The one under the user options etc..?
If this is the case - just click on the line "Administration menu" and you'll get the admin panel..

Best!

No, I click on the Admin Menu and it goes to the correct page, but there is nothing on it. The Admin Menu consists of... nothing. As for having installed any modules, no, I haven't. I assumed I was supposed to do that through the Admin Menu, but there's nothing there.

oh... no little rectangle on the left with "system admin" to click on..?

Hummm... Sounds like you might want to put it to installation troubleshooting..?

Check that your cache folder is chmod 777. Backup adminmenu.php to your desktop, delete it from the server then re enter the admin section of your site.

Delete it from the server? That produced a 404 error. And is was already chmod 777. I installed version 2.0.10. Any other suggestions?

Re: No Admin Menu

Adminmenu.php should be regenerated if the folder is writable by the server. Check and see if the file in back in the cache folder.
