New user gets blank white page

When someone fills out the registration at the site, they click the submit button it returns the register.php page which is completely blank.. Why is this happening and how do I fix it.

Have you checked register.php to make sure there are no white spaces at the end of the php file?

There are no white spaces at the end.

Hmm very strange indeed. Has it always happened or just started recently? if so have you made any recent changes to the site?

Yes it started recently. Yes I made changes, tried to install the Invision Board forum module, and had all kinds of issues with it, like changing the block text to black so you couldn't see the test inside blocks on each side. I disabled it. Could that have messed with anything?

Here's another thing, when I make changes in the System/Prefferences...nothing happens. I turn Banners off, they're still on. If I set it to use a backup set of templates, it stays the same, if I turn on de-bugging, nothing happens. When I go back in to check the settings, they're all on the original settings before I changed them.

Sounds like the changes arn't saving to the database. IPB is a major core hack and therefore is very likely the cause of the problem. I hav'nt played with it myself because of that reason, so I always use NewBB.

Do you have a backup you can revert to?

Any one else had this problem with IPB and can assist?
