Hi there,

I am using gallery 1.3.3.5 and it was working great, until I moved it on to a Windows 2003 server using IIS 6.

In order to get gallery to work properly PHP needs access to CMD.exe to enable it to make use of exec() calls,

my question is...

Is there another gallery as fully featured as 'gallery' which does not require access to CMD.exe in order to work?
Sorry if it sounds like I dont know what I am talking about - that is because I dont. I just think it might be quite dangerous to give PHP read / write and exextute access to CMD.exe

Cheers for any advise or comments,

Rob

You might want to take a look at xcGallery, a nice gallery, and that doesn't require, as far as I know, access to cmd.

xcGallery:

Goodluck.

Hello again,

Cheers for that Jan304 - that seems to work well, did like the older ones layout better but this does not require access to CMD.exe

David, the link for above is the download for the xcgallery - you can allow registered users access to upload pics and the xcgallery has loads more features than some other galleries.
