I tried it at home as well now. It seems that the Invision File Manager Module doesn't work there as well.
I installed the "Net 2 FTP" module. This does the job very well. I will test it tomorrow from behind a strict firewall which blocks port 21.
Thanks for your support.
As promised the update.
This solution works great! I can move files around, change permissions, upload and download. I can do maintenance on my sitefrom behind a firewall that blocks Filezilla.
I think the difference with "Invision", "Filemanager 3.0", etc is that I log in now on the account I got from my ISP. It seems that XOOPS prevents me from using my "root-rights" in my filesystem, even if I am the webmaster. I'm wondering now if this is normal or is there something wrong in my installation/settings. I've no problems encountered in the other modules I use......yet
Anyone a suggestion?
