In my stupidity I never made a test site for my XOOPS site, I just tinkered with the original. I'm about to move my site from my Home Server to a pro server. I thought it's about time to try a fresh install without loosing anything.

Can this be done? I was going to start with a fresh install of 2.0.9.2, check which of my files are newer and copy them. Then just copy the database straight across.

Any suggestions are welcome!

Your way may work, but it would be so much easier to just copy your database and XOOPS files to your live server.
THEN upgrade to the lastest release.

Don't forget to edit your mainfile.php with your new site paths.

Yup, that's what I thought. I just hope I've not modified too many core files whilst I've been installing hacks.
