I understand the concept of the XOOPS community, however I wondered if anyone would be able to provide a maximum of 30 minutes advising me [most likely less time and without obligation] on a couple of issues if paid for their time.

This [Xoops] is the best of the php CD communities by far, and while paying $ is not in the spirit of the general principles here, I wanted to shortcut to the best module/combination to include some content I have and am prepared to pay for the time of a XOOPS veteran suggestions.. in lieu of my ignorance/lack of time.

If this is a no-no, please smack away :)

This is definately not a no-no. *Services* are where the added value is in the world of open source software, as opposed to *code* (note: not the service of coding), which is what you pay fo in the proprietary software world.

There are several veterans out there that can give you advice: Mithrandir, Hyperpod, Ackbarr, Predator, etc. etc. (these are just off the top of my hat, in no particular order).
