Hi

I am about to set up a shop and am thinking of using XOOPS as the front end and then set up an OSCommerce site as the shop site.

Would you:-
a. Set up the OSCommerce site separately and link to it
b. Use the XOOPS OSCommerce module

If the OSCommerce that you download from here would work, then integrate it else, go with the version provided by the OSCommerce website and link it.

Just wondering, does anyone have a working version of the current OSCommerce integration?

Rich, maybe you should check out this thread especially the author of tek by design.

I installed the os commerce XOOPS module and started to play around, but its a complex bit of kit. Never gone live with a shop yet.

I knowhttp://xoops2.org will support the new version of the XOOPS shop which I believe is going to be zencart.

Thanks for the link. I suppose having read your post and looked at the Xoops2 move for Zen Cart I might try that out first or even wait!!
