Pocket Bike Racing UK is an XOOPS based site with an OSCommerce shop intergrated into it. The 2 work so well together, although it did take many weeks to get it to work properly.

Let me know what you think.....

Yes, I like your site. Very fast loading too (on my 3mb cable connection).

Looks great, and functional. Good luck.

I also wanted to use OSCommerce or some kind of shopping cart program for my site. What module did you use for this? Is it easy enough for a newbie "shopping site" administrator to use? My main issue though is how payment of the goods is processed. Since I'm not based in the US, I can't really take advantage of Paypal.

NICE DESIGN and a good example for a comercial site.

Fast loading (with heavy images!)

Perhaps you have to put more general information on the first (Home-) Page.

Thanks for the kind words folks......

The oscommerce module was from www.myxoopsshop.org if i recall correctly, but had to be tweaked to get it to work properly.

Very nice work. Very pro looking - I'm sure will attract much custom with that. Is it a custom theme or an XOOPS one - looks like a Zaja theme from 7Dana.com?

Once minor criticism though...personally, I'm not convinced about the header graphic. Using Firefox I have just a large orange rectangle with some little wiggly bits in it, which I assume is a Macromedia graphic. It look like a bit of a waste of the space. If it were me (and I'm no expert) I'd make it narrower so that your users do not have to scroll as much. Impressive sounds though! Great work.

====Edit====

Just looked at with IE - do you realise the twq graphics look 100% different in the two browsers? Looks ace in IE, but terrible in Firefox. You may want to address this.

thanks alot i'll look into it.

Its a custom theme based on another, can't remember which.
People seem to like the site and we get alot of hits.

Thanks again for the comments.

It would appear the firefox is actually a browser issue rather than a site issue.

The header is simply made up of a background image with a transparent flash overlay.

It seems firefox won't display transparent flash.....

I'll stick to IE

I have just resolved the issue with firefox not displaying the transparent flash header.

My site looks good in firefox too now!!

Also does anyone know of anyway to combine the XOOPS and oscommerce login?
