Hi

I presume that the only way to get a hyperlink to open on the same page is to use the href tag coupled with either the target="_self" or leave it blank.

Is this right? Or am I missing some admin block whereby I can specify what happens to a hyperlink?

you can use HTML tags in stead of bb-code tags (if you just use an url, it's converted to a link by bb-code).

So, in stead of http://www.xoops.org (which bb-code makes into [url = http://www.xoops.org]www.xoops.org[/ url]), use < a href="put your link here">link here< /a>.
