Problems with NEWBB 2.0 Final

I am having a problem with Modulo NEWBB2, them this generating extreme load in server PHP of my site, with this all hour my site leaves air.

Alguem already saw something... as to obtain the Newbb lightest...

Do you mean newbb two generates to much bandwidth for you and your site goes off due to to much?

BTW may I ask how did you make the Confirmation code on login?

I am also having a lot of trouble with server lag using newbb 2.0 Final just is so slow and using a lot of B/W it may even be the cause for the outage for 40 minutes this afternoon is there a way of speeding it up and reducing the B/W it uses?

For instance it has to load 140 items just to view 1 forum post! This is just unacceptable and is not only slowing down the rest of my site but also affecting the speed of the other XOOPS sites that are being run on the same server under the same umbrella.

140 items ? That sounds a little on the heavy side. What do the requests contain?

I see that as well. Sometimes, seemingly at random, when opening a message the following will be seen at the bottom of internet explorer:

Loading (140 items remaining) and it counts down visibly.

These are normal text messages and don't have anything in them. I've tried reducing the number of images, etc., on all of the newbb pages, but that doesn't seem to be the issue. I think it's doing poorly-written database queries.

[edit] ... I saw the exact same thing here on this website after posting this message, except it was loading over 200 items instead.......
