I need site without css support. I installed XOOPS and of course have problems. I know how to change modules look but I don't know where I can change main design. There is no something like "index.html". Any tips?

how it can be without css?
you must use this and its very powerful and easy to use
and for your main look site you must upload a theme in your theme folder then edit theme.html with a software like frontpage

if you really NEED a file without css support ... kill that tags in theme.html ()which load css and you will get what you need. (of course in some themes and templates there is the use of inline styles)...
..
but perhaps you can explain WHAT you need? There are different ways to serve different media with our themefiles.

I know css is powerful but I can't use it at the moment. I need simple html pages.

You mean "theme.html" is this source code where XOOPS display modules? I have to look at this. Thx.

You are right, maybe I try explain what I need. First, I want to create own design from the begining.

The reason is I have site build on other technology and now I want to move main old design to XOOPS technology.

As I said I could change modules look but I didn't find source code of main page.

Not exactly. It is created in JAVA but pages are generated in simple HTML without CSS support.

no css would make for harder work tho.. especially as some modules etc have hardcoded designs which calls classes from the CSS files..

i can't see any reason u can't use css tho really, if u know html, then css will be a doddle to you really..
