I have got my site to show the 'Recent News' on my home page. It shows the latest titles of each of my news reports - great.

Is there a way I can get just the most recent news topic to be shown as a full article on the main page, with the remaining ones beneath it just as they are now (as hyperlinks)?

I've tried messing about with the 'classic' and 'topic' views in the News Preferences, bu that does not achieve what I want in the 'Recent News' block on my home page.

In other words, I want visitors to see the latest new items as soon as they access the site, and then if they are interested in the other they click them.

Do I make sense?

Why don't you put the news module as your default module ?
