I have installed several modules to test on the site.

How can I delete the ones I am not using anymore?

First you must "deactivate" them by unchecking the active box on the module admin page. There is a confirmation page for this. After that, there will be a new icon next to the update icon that looks like a diskette. Click that and you can delete the module.
