html tables aren't showing up right in Sections

The table and images show up fine but the table is pushed all the way to the bottom of the page. There's a lot of empty space at the beginning of the Article. I entered this in the Sections module. This is the code I entered:

If you are using the section module included with xoops, which is depreciated really, and using html, the XOOPS text sanitizor will transform all linebreaks to <br /> tags.

You can use this free progam called Absolute HTML Compressor to compress your HTML

I was just looking over the feature list of Absolute HTML Compressor. They include:

Quote:

remove unnecessary quotation marks. For example,
<table BORDER="0" CELLSPACING="0" CELLPADDING="0" align="center"> will be converted to
<table BORDER=0 CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 align=center>;
remove <!DOCTYPE ...> tags;
remove meta tags. You can specify names of the meta tags to be removed.

So much for XHTML-compliancy.

Works though..

they forgot to include

transform all linebreaks to <br /> tags

for full non-compliance that is..

I run into the same problem many times. As it was said, you have to manually (or using a tool) remove all line breaks.

Newer modules have an option that allows you to disable auto line breaks.
