How to give user admin privilages

In the user edit section i can make the user a webmaster, but that doesn't seem to allow the user to access the admin area. Could someone please show me how to give user admin privilages.

Go to Admin Sytem->Groups and create a new group. Then add what ever permissions you want for that group and what ever users you want to add to that group.

It is not recommended that you just drop a user into the default admin group. Create a new group for your own peace of mind and assign module admin access one by one as needed for that group.
