For some reason, we lost the database.. bug maybe... no one can log in .. it takes us to the module/user.php after signn in and displays a white page... have an admin on site scared to log out but has free rhein in there.. she's lonely :( I do have a backup database from the site via the backup module.. and i dont have access to the module anyway.. how do i install the backed up db?

You lost the database? If you get blank pages, ask the admin to turn on php-debug, so you can see what is causing the errors. Also, use phpmyadmin or a similar db tool to check the database integrity, that can help as well.

So long we don't know the specific error (also check the XOOPS Wiki on how to enable php-debug without admin access), we can only guess at the cause, and we will not be able to help.

i ftp'd the original files in.. alls well.. just minor tweaks to do... even saved the posts.. hacker! thanx guys .. i was just panicking.. will enable the php debug
