Admittedly, I am not a web developer, hence Xoops. I need to know how you get a logo, which normally takes up the left third of the browser, to extend its background color all the way across the browser. My banner logo is displayed but the right have of the top banner is the color of the theme, not the background color of my logo. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

A lot depends on what the layout of the code in your theme header and whether it makes calls to your stylesheet

Here is an example header you could adapt by matching the colors in the background-color call

<{$xoops_banner}>

Thanks, I also figured out where the theme sets the header banner background color. That did the trick.

I was having trouble removing the XOOPS logo (not that it isn't a fine logo). But it wouldn't go away even after removing all references to it in theme.html and style.css. Then I discover the default^theme.html file in the templates_c directory. What the hech is that for and how does it interact with the theme and style files? Why are there multile references to this file (logo.gif) in multiple files? Which one takes precedence?

Are there some docs on this somewhere? Or is this just magic that you have to figure out on your own?

Thanks
