looking for a nice simple links module. Just want to be able to have 5-10 links to other sites somewhere on the page. Is there a module for this? So simple I know, but i couldn't find one.

did you try the weblinks module in your installation?

i'm actually using weblinks in another area of my site. But it won't work for what I need. I just want to have a handfull of links to affiliates that can stay in the left or right column. Almost the way the links are in MAIN MENU module, but these links would link to outside the website to affiliates.

perhaps imenu might suit.

there is another called multimenu somewhere if you do a search

You could also create a custom block using HTML, but a bit more involved..

You could also try xoopspartners module. A custom block might be the best option.

Definitely. Just go to Admin -> Blocks.

Make your text and graphics in your favorite web editor and then cut and paste into a new block titled "links". I know pasting from dreamweaver code works fairly well with xoops.
