Soo.. another newbie problem I guess.. =)

I just started using the "recent comment" block and I have a problem.. If you click on a link to one of the comments, they are shown in threads so you can only see the actual comment you clicked on. I want them to be shown "flat" by default so you see all the comments made to that news topic etc..

You can change this from Control Panel -> Preferences -> General Preferences.

Change Default Comment Display Mode from "Nested" to "Flat".

I think this is what you are looking for. Hope this helps. I'm using 2.0.6, not sure about previous versions.

Ah-haaa!.. After a quick update it worked.. I was sure that I had updated XOOPS on this page but obviously not.. Ohwell, running 5 XOOPS sites makes you a bit confused from time to time.. =)

Ehm.. ok.. same problem, different site.. on another site I have, I run XOOPS 2.0.6.. And the default on showing comments is nested when I want it flat.. the default in the general settings is set to flat..

Re: Recent comments block problem

There are some problems with comments and register globals = off, which will probably be solved in future releases
