I've just installed XOOPS and can not add any forums.
Any one have any ideas

Are you sure you have installed the forums module?

Where exactly are you trying to add them from?

And you must first add a category before you can add a forum.

I've created a couple of categorys but when I go to create a forum I can enter the name but there is no create button etc

Make sure you are logged in as admin then try to go to this url

http://yoursite.com/modules/newbb/admin/admin_forums.php?mode=addforum

This should display the add a forum section and it will look like this:

this issue has to do with the number of users or an error in the list of users it loads for the moduerator screen. That breaks the page. I don't know of a solution yet, but we don't have this problem... But it's a known bug, and we're looking into it.
