NewBB Forum Topics Can't Be Seen

I can't see any Topics in my forum. When I add a topic, I can see it in the Forum. But when I click on the topic I wish to view, I get a blank page. I can't see any of the info inside of the topic. I have tried using the Flat and Threaded views. Still nothing. Please help.

I am having this same problem since I upgraded from 2.0.5 to 2.0.6. I did the forum module upgrade within the admin area. Everything displays fine except when you click on a topic, then you get a blank screen.

Other than that, I haven't experienced any other problems with the upgrade *crosses fingers* ...

I registered on your site, and I see the same behavior you describe. I have created a new topic and I can't see it either.

You don't get a blank screen per say, but a fully populated page, that simply doesn't have the post in it. All of the blocks and headers are there, but no post.

Since you have no data to lose, I would start by updating the forum module in place, and if that doesn't work, I would uninstall the module, and re-install.

You could also use the MySQL debug to see if maybe a query is misfiring, but that's a stretch...

This forum thing is becoming a problem. When I upgraded to 2.0.6, I could not view the topics in my forums. Everything else was okay, except when you click on a topic you get a blank screen.

I did the update in the admin section first, too. So next, I uninstalled the forum module and reinstalled it. Still the blank screen regarding viewing, and posting, topics. I did another update in the admin section, and still nothing.

Everything else in the forum section works fine. Except now, I cannot post topics (I have no existing topics any more because I re-installed). Anyone have any ideas?

It appears to be working fine on My Site.

I have a hacked version (hack is downloadable from my site). But I also had no problems with the vanilla version.

What php version, MySQL version, server OS are you running.

OS:Linux
Apache version: 1.3.29
My SQL: 4.0.15 standard
PHP: 4.3.4

That's the specs as they show in C-panel. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

All the same as my site, except the PHP is 4.3.3.

Since you reinstalled already, you could try the hacked version that I am running.

Where is your site??? Can I take a look?

There isn't much there yet, but the site is here. If you can help in any way, I would certainly apprectiate it.

Your site is broken differently than harry007's. You should turn on the php debug in the general preferences. to see what the error messages are.

If that doesn't yield anything, try the mysql/blocks debug. Either way there is something significantly busted here.

Here's the PHP debug error Iget when I attempt to make a new post ... does this mean anything substantial?

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: forumposts in ../modules/newbb/post.php on line 149
