xcgal upload help

I a trying to upload pictures in my gallery but I get the message: Failed to create folder 10001 !

I can only use 1 directory for uploads because of security reasons of the provider I am using(thats what they told me.). This folder is the uploads folder from xoops. This folder has access rights 777 also the album folder has 777.
I also changed the path to the full url/uploads/albums and it still doesn't work. Anybody got an idea?

how big is the image you are uploading? it may exceed limit.

no it not that, changed the limits and used a small picture for testing.

How did you define the path to your albums?

It should be something like this for the album directory if it is in the "uploads" directory in your XOOPS root:

album directory

../../uploads/albums/

Nothttp://your domain.com/uploads
