Alright my friends,
We have 2.0.3 running pretty smooth...and we are finally considering upgrade to 2.0.5 (because of some bug issues we can't fix).

Should we do the patch or th full install?
we have been patching since 2.0,
My main problem with re-install (and its not on the wiki as far as I can tell)
Is that there is nothing about what to do when you get to a certain point in install.

For Instance, you go through the whole install script, but when do you stop? DO you create the same modereator admin names? etc. That is where I have stopped in the past. and then transfered my dbv over and things were fine. Is that worng?

I'd prefer to do the patch! BUT I understand there were problems with this before. Have they been fixed?
Thanks a lot everyone?

Install again? Why should you do that? There is nothing chanced in database structure!

Just upload the 2.0.3 to 2.0.5 patch, download here, upload et voila...

Don't look father and especially don't make it harder then it is.

May I ask is there a detail of how 2.03 is update to 2.05?

I've changed many things on my own, and I'm afraid that if I just simply overwrite the files, I'll have to do this again...

many thanks!

That's the risk you take when you start hacking the files yourself. If they are usefull hacks, submit them to the module development team, or core development team, so we can see if we can and want to incorporate them into the next version. Themes and templates will not change (but make sure by checking out the files in the patch first!).
