Many Xoops 1 user database?

How can I run many XOOPS and have just one user database?
So if a user logs in to one he does not have to log in to the others and has the same user name and password on all of the XOOPS sides.

I would like to run the sides on sub-domain level
have several databases but only one user database.

Ackbarr has made these adjustments for the XOOPS core, to be used for the new xoops.org websites. Logging in is impossible tho, because of the way the login script is written (secure), you can't be logged in all these sites at the same time. Think of it, if you have all these sessions running on your server, it'll crash

I'll ask ackbarr to make the adjustments available to you asap

So what your are saying is I can have one database with user names and passwords but the user has to login if he goes from one site to the other, right?

sorry, I have been busy with the XOOPS server move and have not had time to send you an email. For this technique to work, all sites need to be stored in the same MySQL db.

I have two sites one which is not public jet.
I guess I could combine the two databases since one is not online jet.

Please, tell me more.
