I am trying to post my XOOPS site to the host and on administration of modules - if I uninstall or install a module I get the message

Can someone tell me whee it is - maybe needs chmod 777?

Any help gratefully rceived

Thanks

yes, the cache folder needs to be chmodded to 777 and the files in that folder need to be chmodded to 666.

Hi

Using CuteFTP v5 and all I get when I try to CHMOD 666 the files in the cache folder is:

"Operation not allowed"?

Why is this?...

(also got this when trying to delete "uploader" folders after deciding not to use the module - said folders were not empty???)

Joe.
