Does anyone have other commands for this module in large member?

There is a separate thread about another user having difficulty sending out large numbers of email messages using EvenNews.

https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=36742&forum=20&post_id=167943#forumpost167943

There, tzvook's solution was to raise memory limit to 96MB for scripts @ php.ini (not advised on a real internet server, just on dev servers).

try phplist - www.phplist.com It's not a XOOPS module but I've got 13,000 subscribers and it's the best reliable option for me

Is it real Internet server?

Great,so we have 4 contributors !
I estimate that we'll need about 20 to make it not too expensive ...

Where are all those who asked for it during the years !!!

Great David, any sum will help.
Actually if there will be between 20 to 40 ppls, it won't be a lot to nobody.

Andy, I'll PM you later on, my features list, for you to edit/add it, then we'll post it here on this thread for others to see/post comments or requests...

Time to chime in folks. Get you wants and needs for this module up here soon.

My personal starting point for the minimal list features (must haves) is phplist (but without the bugs....)

If anyone has experience with phplist and knows first hand of some limitations we should not repeat, speak up.

Also, there are a number of similar applications to phplist
http://tincan.co.uk/?lid=1205
If anyone has experience with any of those and there are some great features, let us know.

I'll chimne is as well. I'll see if the Foundation can chime in here with a more substantial donation, but it'll mean more influence on the feature requests I know phplist, and it is good, but I'd like better integration with the XOOPS content, making it possible to send out user/group specific mailings, for instance.

Anyways, count me in.
