I have 2 requests for the mod.

1. being able to change the forum order.
2. have a link to see threads with New Posts.

Otherwise I love the rest.

Never really notice this topic before
"Newbb Pro (attachments, mark read ...)"

I read all the previous post and didn't know which was which. I searched on the download section and there was no hack to download in this particular section.

So what does "Pro" have? and where can i download it? or the codes or it?

I just made a fresh install of newbb pro. (I've had an unresolved problem with v 1.02. I did't realize that the download that I just got was 1.03 already.)

I'm using the English language in my site.

Some feedback:
- the "new message" icon button is in spanish "nuevo mensaje"
- when i installed the module, i had to change permissions for the whole newbb folder. (which surprised me because the modules usually have the right permissions for the files and folders. but then again, i could be wrong. i'm still new to xoops. only experience is limited to the few modules i've tried.) is it because it's a ZIP file type and not a TAR.GZ?
- in the newbb\images directory there's an extra archive subject.tar.gz

i update my forum from newbbex to newbb pro

every thing is good but there is a little problem:
i use UTF-8 encoding in my site & when i update newwbb module; title encoding of any post is wrong and it seems '????????' .

is there any way to correct that???

@samules:
1- i want all users (anon or registerd) can see private forums (only title of forum) but now all private forums are hide

2- i want a user can delete his/her post is this posible?



& another question: what is the best way to duplicate some table in database?? coz i create xoops_bb tables manualy and this is a hard work to do

I think I read... Developement on NewBB Pro is not continuing. The developpement is now on the newBB that will be released as part of the core. Info onhttp://dev.xoops.org
