I only just found out there was a new version, the 'readme' states:

These are the files that have changed ...

xoops_trust_path\modules\protector\class\protector.php
xoops_trust_path\modules\protector\filters_disabled\postcommon_post_need_multibyte.php
xoops_trust_path\modules\protector\README
xoops_trust_path\modules\protector\TODO

Obviously all that is required is to upload the 2 modified php files to the "trust" path.
NO to the Microsoft Office format as an ISO standard.
