Just so you know, I can access your site now (I couldn't about a hour ago).

23 Feb 2004 2100hrs + 1300hrs GMT Auckland, New Zealand.

Same IP address as my previous post.

Loading time was OK (considering I was streaming a radio station as well).

Do you know if this is a DNS issue or a routing problem? If you want to check out a reliable registrar with a local (Toronto) phone number try Easy DNS. DNS is too critical to leave it to problem servers that save you $5 per year. Web hosting is another story but easier to change.

I wouldn't know how to tell the difference to be honest and thats something I am leaving up to my host to find out. Some users have reported DNS errors on the error page they get, so I would lean towards that.

In any case, I transfered my Registrar over, went through the approval process and I'm just waiting for my old registrar to confirm, or whatever happens at this point...

Oh yeah, just after I did all this, my (old) Registrars site went *poof*

www.reghub.com *edit* Whaddeya know, it's back up... (I don't recommend this service)

I don't know if it's related to my DNS problems (if it is a DNS problem) and if so I'm ok, but if these guys packed it up and left shop, will my domain transfer go through?

Yes, I confirmed the administrative contact through the new registrar in case someone was going to ask

*edit*

Ok, so I got paranoid when I thought they left town, false alarm... at any rate, I am in the process of transferring my domain to a new registrar. I just want to be rid of this problem once and for all...
