news module

Hi!first off XOOPS must be one on the best and user friendly portal system i have come accros and believe me i have looked around ;p

and secondly, after installation i was in the control panel and installed the news module but it keeps telling me when trying to add a news article that the module is not installed?

Then, about your problem, may be you should first try to re upload the news module.

seems like either news files are not uploaded correctly or u didn't install module correct. try deactivating news module and reactivating it in the Module section of System Admin.
