Please help me with News module 1.2 !!!!

Hello All,

I have a big problem with the news module, im running XOOPS 2.0.7 and News 1.2. My problem is that when a user posts a article under a category called members, you can choose not to display on the main page. But everyting that is posted om my site is posted on the main page.

Is this a common problem? can some one please help me out?
