I have a problem that users can access XOOPS only from lan.
url like this works :http://host/xoops
but link on my domain's mainpage doesn't :http://strela.dyndns.org

What could be the problem?

Is your xoops_url in mainfile.phphttp://strela.dyndns.org?

If yes try to replace "HTTP_HOST" with "SERVER_NAME" in /include/common.php and /include/cp_header.php.

Depending on the type of router you are using, there are various ways to forward requests from the outside world to specific ports on the inside of your LAN. The default for all routers that I can think of is to drop all requests from the WAN that don't originate from inside your LAN. It is a basic security issue that can most likely be resolved by reading some FAQ's on the DLINK or whatever router you are usings homepage. I had this problem before. I had to use my routers VIRTUAL HOSTING feature. Also... ISP's often block incoming requests to port 80. I'm on Comcast right now and they leave my ports alone, but Charter used to block all kinds of ports. Ok...getting back on track....make sure that all requests to port 80 or whatever port you have apache or IIS listening on are forwarded to the network address of the machine hosting your website...it will be an ip address like 192.168.0.* or something like that.
